Praxis philosophy
Praxis is an iterative, reflective approach to taking action. It is an ongoing process of moving between practice and theory. Praxis is a synthesis of theory and practice in which each informs the other ( Freire, 1985 ).
The difference between praxis and
practice is that praxis is the practical application of any branch of learning while practice is repetition of an activity to improve skill.
Marx uses the term "praxis" to refer to the free, universal, creative and self-creative activity through which man creates and changes his historical world and himself.(తాను మారుతూ తన చుట్టూ ఉన్న ప్రపంచాన్ని మార్చడాన్ని ప్రాక్సిస్ అంటారు)
Praxis is an activity unique to man, which distinguishes him from all other beings. (ఇదే ఆ వ్యక్తి ప్రత్యేకతను తెలియజేస్తుంది.)
Young Hegelian August Cieszkowski
was one of the earliest philosophers to use the term praxis to mean "action oriented towards changing society" in his 1838 work Prolegomena zur Historiosophie (Prolegomena to a Historiosophy).
